Circa 1977, this traditional brick house is in a rural community of 1,300 and nestled at the edge of the East Texas timberline. It is only 10 minutes from the World Famous First Monday Trade Days. The Greater Dallas area is approximately 60 miles west. Crooked Creek Farm Bed and Breakfast is an excellent escape for a quiet, relaxing experience from the fast pace of today's way of life. Crooked Creek, named for the community in which it is located, is a 100-acre farm located just off Texas Highway 19 between 1-20 and US 80. Some years ago, the many farming families that lived here had their own school and church located near the farm. The present owners bought the farm 31 years ago and have lived here 30 years raising hay, cattle and five children. The farm was opened as a Bed and Breakfast in 1990, after the Christian owners trusted in God's leading and guidance in that direction.
